After entering the theme of fun Germany,The kids from K3-A are full of curiosity about the culture of Germany every day. In order to meet the children's desire for knowledge, K3A teachers and parents, decided to prepare a sumptuous meal for the German culture and German feast. So, mom and dad who have been in Germany to collect photos and make PPT, our teacher Kay went to buy German delicacy food. We work together to prepare a meal for the children.
The first part is given by our mom and Dad "In Germany". Donny’s mother told a German street story, let the kids feel the German rigorous attitude of speaking and acting. Toby’s father in simple English for kids to introduced the new Swan Castle’s location and history. When the kids heard the original owner of castle is Sissi, they all want to go there. Elsa’s mother show the photos in Germany, especially the Alps, the beautiful mountains and rivers, fresh air, the herd of cows.
The second part is, our Kay teaches the kids to make famous Munich bread. Kay crossed hands on the chest, "bread shaped like a hug." hee hee, kids rub the dough, rub it longer and longer, crossed two times, then make it like a hug shape, coated the oil and put it into the oven.
Last, we will enter the German Feast. Our Kay prepared a table full of German meal for K3A family. German potato and Bacon salad, fried chicken, pickled cucumbers and German red cabbage, also there are 6 different varieties of German sausage.
German Feast, let us close to Germany, help the kids to relieve the heart of doubt, and to have a further understanding of the German people and the German construction. So, parents and teachers to further deepen the understanding towards a common goal, together!
