In order to enforce the safety of the kindergarten and enhance the fire safety awareness of teachers and students, Angel Kindergarten conducted a fire drill. Through fire drills and daily safety classes, students have a good understanding of fire escape knowledge and fire safety awareness, so as to ensure orderly evacuation in accordance with fire escape routes and methods in case of fire.
As the fire alarm went off , teachers asked children to cover their mouth and nose with wet towels, bend their backs and quickly follow the fire emergency evacuation routes and requirements to get to safety zone.
On the way, the teachers in each aisle strictly followed the evacuation requirements and made sure the children were safe while going downstairs . After children all arrived the safety zone, teachers quickly did the head count and reported to principle Addy. The entire fire evacuation time took 2 minutes and 58 seconds.
After the drill, Addy conducted a summary of the fire drill. Security guards also demonstrated to the children the extinguishment process with fire extinguisher. The children also did a really good job, they were calm and orderly throughout the fire drill.
Through this fire drill, teachers and students not only know how to save themselves in a fire, how to escape, how to dial 119 to call the police, but also aware of the importance to keep calm and emergency evacuation in sudden and major accidents. In the future, Angel Kindergarten will further infiltrate safety education into the daily teaching to create a safe, healthy and happy environment for children.
